The law proposal is in the Lower Chamber

The existing Act on political parties nor the proposal amending this Act which is in the Lower Chamber of the Parliament maintains the possibility of political parties to own or hold shareholding interests in legal persons so that non-transparent financing via this shareholding connection can take place. At least it is proposed for companies owned by political parties to have its financial accounts audited.
