The proposal of the law amending the Act on conflict of interest, which the Upper Chamber returned to the Lower Chamber of the Parliament, does not catch by a voluntary affidavit not to enrich oneself unduly in the public office those areas which the asset declaration does not cover. The current Act does not provide for a sanction for the violation of the prohibition of the misuse of the public function for the purpose of personal enrichment.
