The proposal of the law amending the Act no. 159/2006 Coll., on conflict of interest, which is in the Lower Chamber of the Parliament does not catch by a voluntary affidavit not to enrich oneself unduly in the public office those areas which the asset declaration does not cover. The current Act does not provide for a sanction for the violation of the prohibition of the misuse of the public function for the purpose of personal enrichment.
