Abolition of anonymous ownership
— #135 Disclosure of ultimate beneficial owner(s) as a condition for obtaining licence for providing offshore services
The condition for receiving the license for providing offshore services should be the disclosure of ultimate beneficial owners of companies applying for the license to provide offshore services and also the continuous monitoring of ownership structures.
If the disclosure of corporate ownership structure up to the ultimate beneficial owners was a condition for obtaining licence for providing offshore services, it would be possible to monitor whether persons who own or control these companies do not engage in money laundering or do not conceal the origin of assets via their offshore business.
