Non-corrupt and professional public administration — #59 Publication of the list of companies serving public interest obliged to disclose information to the public

State, regions and municipalities should publish (and update) lists of companies serving public interests which are obliged to provide information according to the Act on free access to information. Public information which shall be available to the general public should be provided by all companies serving public interests which dispose with public assets.

Some ministries and other municipalities voluntarily publish which companies they own. A number of these companies owned or co-owned by these public bodies, however, do not consider themselves to be subject to the Act on open access to information (of public institutions) despite a clear case-law of the constitutional court.
