The Act on elections to the Lower Chamber of the Parliament, as amended as of 1 January 2017, continues to allow legal persons, including those with non-transparent ownership structure, to provide funds and other benefits for electoral campaigns of political parties. Nonetheless, the Act limits the amount of funds, including the gifts for the electoral campaign and other benefits which political parties can accept.
