The proposal amending the Act on political parties, which is in the Upper Chamber of the Parliament, maintains the possibility for legal persons, including those with non-transparent ownership structure, to provide funds and other benefits to political parties. Nonetheless, the proposed law limits the amount of funds and other benefits which political parties can accept.

The Act on political parties, as amended as of 1 January 2017, maintains the possibility for legal persons, including those with non-transparent ownership structure, to provide funds and other benefits to political parties. At least, the approved Act limits the amount of funds and other benefits which political parties can accept.
