If media protection is granted to the whistleblower, neither ombudsman nor police shall be allowed to publish any information that could lead to revealing whistleblower’s identity.
If media protection could be granted to a justified whistleblower, it would be possible to remedy at least in certain way the situation when the state grants this protection to persons suspect of criminal acts, that is to persons in respect of whom there is a suspicion of socially damaging behaviour, but not to persons who by their behaviour help the society.
